We have an extensive range of both Brass and Pewter Shields. Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes all Shields are handpainted with attmost accuracy and attention to detail.
Coat of Arms imagery is reproduced by hand from your Family Coat of Arms awarded to your Family Name. As orders are all handpainted, can take between 6 - 8 weeks for delivery.

Originally designed by one of our artists in 1975, our solid brass dooknocker is an extremely popular and practical heraldic item.
The Brass doorknocker is handpolished, sealed with a baked high gloss laquer designed to enducre the rigours of the Australian outdoors. To assist in the mounting, there are two 1/4inch holes tapped into the back of the doorknocker, so when it is mounted on the front door, there is no visible signs of the mounting screws.

One of the most popular ways to display your Family Coat of Arms is a solid cast Brass or Pewter shield. the Pewter finish gives the impression of old world silver or steel finish (a more traditional design), whilst the Brass is oxidised to enhance the visual effect of an aged old finish. Shields are finished, handpolished and sealed which eliminates the need for further polishing.
Depending on where the Shiled is to be displayed will determine the best finish to choose.
The Timber backing board is sculpted from furniture grade custom wood, with each timber component being hand made, bevelled, polished, staned and finished in a high gloss laquer. Whilst there are many different timber finishes, we suggest the colour of the timber backing be left to our Heraldic Artists as they can select the piece of timber that best enhances the colours of the Coat of Arms.
